These forums require a separate registration from the main website.  You can use the same or a different user name; just make sure you remember both.  After all, you might want to remember your sign-in on the main site if/when you decide to renew your support next year!

A few ground rules:

Be civil. Be courteous.   You can attack an argument without denigrating the arguer.

Keep posts on topic -- don't derail threads.  Consider starting a new one if it's off topic. It's off topic if it would disrupt the original subject.

The Tavern is the place for anything not directly related to the party.

We like keeping a high-signal-to noise ratio.  Don't post stupid rumor #14 for the 65,249th time.  "Proctor and Gamble is a Satan-worshiping company!" and the like will get you ban-hammered, with or without warning.

If you're going to post something that seems borderline or outlandish, check it out first, then be sure to link the evidence.   These days, the outlandish is too often true.

All views expressed here are those of the members, not the party! Except when it's one of the party officials posting in an official capacity.  Generally they will be careful to state when they are speaking for or about the party.

We're not interested in your racist, bigoted, sexist, or religious prejudices.  Nor are we interested in being politically correct.  This is a Conservative board, not  Progressive, Liberal, Socialist, Communist, etc.

The board admin has a reputation as a "board Nazi" to uphold.  He will ban or warn users; split, merge, or move topics with verve, relish, and abandon, to keep order.  See the above.
