Small Business owners not only represent a large part of our membership, but they also have a unique opportunity to affect the goings on of their local governments.  They can be active in their local chamber of commerce, and be a part of boards, commissions, and committees which affect everything from local land use and transportation policies to fundamental government reform.  

Also, it never hurts for small businesses to know that they're not alone in the struggle against draconian regulations and burdensome taxes.
